Broadcast + Social Media Campaign

I was the post producer for this sprawling campaign that played across broadcast, mobile and social media.

1st Avenue Machine directors Morgan Harary and Nico Casavecchia teamed up to partner with agency Sunny and 72 to help Dropbox spread the word about its new collaboration platform, called Paper.  As is becoming the norm, we needed to think and work in multiple aspect ratios and sometimes multiple messaging paths to customize the spots for television and social media.  I oversaw a team of editors, animators and compositors working late nights to cut and finish dozens of versions on a razor-tight schedule.

Morgan and Nico sought to bring a varied visual palette to play and in addition to the industry standard Alexa camera, utilized a cavalcade of older formats including 8mm, mini-DV and even VHS.  A sampling of the tapes that came across my desk:
