I was the visual effects producer on this spot for MPC.
This was one of a large campaign directed by the infamous Joe Pytka celebrating the wry personality of IBM’s AI creation Watson and the impending demise of human contributions to the workforce. I supervised a coordinated team of visual effects artists in the New York and London offices to create the centerpiece plane from scratch, as well as a variety of seamless clean-up and augmentation work. I also oversaw color grade, online and delivery. Turns out that plan was originally to shoot the plane in-camera, but it was in fact too big to fit into the hangar that had been rented for the shoot and voila, post-production to the rescue!
