I served a dual role as both agency producer and post-producer
for Special Guest on this direct-to-client project. It was a pleasure to work on a charming campaign which included broadcast, cinema, internet and print deliverables. Oscar is an up and coming New York based insurance provider that prides itself on its consumer-friendly interface. This was their first broadcast campaign and Oscar wanted to move in a different direction from the cartoony print campaign they had launched the previous year and gravitated towards the intimate, naturalistic style that director Tim Brown presented. The spot above is one of two (:30)s that went to air and features perhaps the industry’s quietest, easiest to work with baby (shot in Park Slope where babies undoubtedly feel at home). The spot below involved chartering a ferry from Brooklyn Bridge Park and returning there for some fantastic evening views on the basketball court.
